Massive on the palate and full-bodied, sumptuous on the nose, but harmonious and of excellent balance. It is deep dark and opaque red in color. It has a bouquet of baked cherries and prunes with sweet spicy aromas, like cloves and toasted oak. The taste is concentrated and intense, pleasantly warm, with jam-like forest berries, dried blueberries on the palate and tongue; its crispy acids creating a hint of freshness and firmly stringent tannins retronasally. Robust wine of mature character and strong taste, which has the potential for storage and development up to 15 years following the year it was picked.
